After having served in the Royal Army Pay Corps (audit division) for some years, marriage and stability meant the change of location and a move into commercial accountancy, having gained some 45 years of experience. Richard retired, but his wife couldn’t stand him at home. With his wealth of knowledge and experience Richard decided to put his skills to further use, which is when he then embarked on a new business, R & T Consultants, concentrating on Research & Development services to SME’s. Richard is very passionate about helping companies to achieve their goals and goes out of his way to give advice and guidance to both existing and new Businesses.
Richard is a huge supporter of several Charities that are close to his heart, Cancer Research being one of them. Being a lover of animals, Richard enjoys being out and about with his dogs. ‘Richard’s wife does not like him under her feet for too long’!
